About Prescriptsy
(4)What is Prescriptsy?
Prescriptsy is an independent comparison platform that helps you find reliable online clinics and doctor services. We do not sell medication ourselves, but connect you with EU-certified partners where you can safely request an online consultation.
Does Prescriptsy sell medication?
No, Prescriptsy does not sell medication. We are a comparison platform that refers you to reliable, EU-registered online clinics and doctor services. These partners handle the medical consultation, prescription, and delivery of medication.
Why should I use Prescriptsy?
Through Prescriptsy, you can easily compare different providers on price, delivery time, and service. We only show partners that are EU-certified and work with registered doctors. This saves you time and gives you assurance about reliability.
Is Prescriptsy free to use?
Yes, using Prescriptsy is completely free. You only pay for the treatment and medication at the partner clinic where you request a consultation. We receive a small commission from partners, but this does not affect the price you pay.
The Ordering Process
(5)How does the ordering process work?
The process is simple: 1) Choose your treatment on Prescriptsy, 2) Click through to a partner clinic, 3) Fill out a medical questionnaire there, 4) A doctor reviews your request, 5) If approved, the prescription is issued and medication is shipped.
Do I need a prescription?
For prescription-only medication, a prescription is always required. Through our partners, you can request an online consultation where a registered doctor assesses whether the treatment is suitable for you. If so, the doctor issues a prescription.
How long until I receive a response?
Most partners review your request within a few hours to a maximum of 24 hours. Upon approval, your medication is shipped immediately. If rejected, you will receive an explanation and any payment will be refunded.
Can my request be rejected?
Yes, a doctor may decide that the treatment is not suitable for you based on your medical information. This is for your own safety. You will then receive an explanation and possibly advice to contact your GP.
Should I inform my GP?
It is wise to inform your GP about medications you order online, so your medical file remains complete. The online doctor will also point this out to you. However, this is your own responsibility.
Medications & Treatments
(4)What medications are available?
Through our partners, various prescription medications are available, including treatments for erectile dysfunction, hair loss, contraception, STIs, skin conditions, stomach complaints, and more. View our overview for all available treatments.
Are the medications genuine?
Yes, all partner clinics only supply genuine, EU-approved medications. These are delivered in original packaging with package leaflet. Generic medications are also EU-approved and contain the same active ingredients.
What if a medication is not available?
If a specific medication is not available, you can contact the partner clinic for alternatives. Sometimes a similar medication with the same active ingredient is available.
Can I continue my current medication?
If you are already using a certain medication, you can often continue this through an online consultation. The doctor will review your medical history and determine if continuation is responsible. Have your current prescription or packaging ready if needed.
Delivery & Shipping
(4)How quickly will my order be delivered?
After approval by the doctor, your medication is usually delivered within 24-48 hours. The exact delivery time depends on the partner clinic and your location. Some partners offer express delivery for an additional fee.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes, all partners ship in neutral, inconspicuous packaging without indication of the contents or sender. Your privacy is fully respected.
Can I track my order?
Yes, most partners send a track & trace code once your package has been shipped. This allows you to track the status of your delivery.
What if I am not home during delivery?
Depending on the delivery service, the package will be left with a neighbor, taken to a pickup point, or a new delivery attempt will be made. You will receive notification via track & trace.
Payment & Prices
(3)What payment methods are accepted?
Most partners accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, and bank transfer. Available payment methods may vary per partner.
What is included in the price?
The displayed price usually includes the online consultation, prescription, and shipping costs. Always check this with the partner before checkout, as this may vary per provider.
Will I get a refund if my request is rejected?
Yes, if the doctor rejects your request, you will receive a refund of the paid amount (minus any consultation fees, depending on the partner). Check the terms of the specific partner.
Safety & Privacy
(5)Is ordering medication online safe?
Yes, provided you do this through reliable, EU-registered clinics like our partners. These work with registered doctors, only supply approved medications, and comply with strict privacy legislation. Never buy medication from unknown websites without medical consultation.
How do I know if an online clinic is reliable?
Reliable online clinics are registered with the government, work with registered doctors, have a quality mark (such as the European logo), and always ask for medical information before providing prescription medication. All partners on Prescriptsy meet these criteria.
How is my privacy protected?
All partners comply with GDPR legislation. Your medical data is treated confidentially and only shared with the treating doctor. The packaging is discreet and your bank statement shows a neutral description.
Who sees my medical data?
Only the treating doctor at the partner clinic has access to your medical data. Prescriptsy itself does not receive any medical information about you. The data is securely stored in accordance with GDPR.
Is it legal to order medication online?
Yes, it is completely legal to order prescription medication through an online consultation at an EU-registered clinic. The doctor reviews your request and issues a valid prescription if appropriate. This is comparable to a regular GP visit.
Problems & Complaints
(4)What if my package does not arrive?
Contact the partner clinic through their customer service. They can check the status of your shipment and if necessary send a new package or refund your money.
What if I experience side effects?
Stop using the medication and contact your GP or the partner clinic immediately. For serious side effects: call emergency services or go to the emergency room.
How do I file a complaint?
Complaints about a partner clinic can be submitted to the relevant partner. Do you have a complaint about Prescriptsy itself? Please contact us via the contact form and we will help you.
Can I cancel my order?
This depends on the status of your order and the partner's policy. Contact the partner clinic as soon as possible if you want to cancel. After shipping, cancellation is usually no longer possible.
Account & Repeat Prescriptions
(3)Do I need to create an account?
Most partners require you to create an account to request a consultation. This is necessary to securely store your medical data and enable repeat orders.
Can I get a repeat prescription?
Yes, for many medications you can easily request a repeat prescription after your first order. The doctor assesses whether continuation is still responsible, often via a shorter questionnaire.
How long is my prescription valid?
This varies per medication and partner. Some prescriptions are one-time only, others are valid for multiple deliveries over a certain period (e.g., 6 months). The partner will inform you about this.
